Preventative services are the foundation on which good dental care is built. That’s why we pay special attention to preventing possible problems and maintaining the health of your mouth.

Each time you visit our office for a routine cleaning, we do an oral cancer screening. We also take full panoramic x-rays every three years to check for cysts, tumors and abscessed teeth inside jawbones where normal x-rays can’t reach.

Other routine preventative services include fluoride treatments, both in-office and at home, for patients with a high cavity rate, and night guards for patients who grind their teeth, which can cause arthritis in the jaw joints. We probe your gums during routine checkups so any signs of gum disease are detected early, and will help you learn how to most effectively clean and floss your teeth.
